FOUNDING ATTORNEY
Experienced · Ethical · Compassionate
A member of The Florida Bar, Ms. Levy is a licensed attorney located in Palm Beach County, where she practices immigration and family law. Ms. Levy is licensed to practice in federal court in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. She is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the South Palm Beach County Bar Association, and The Caribbean Bar Association.
Ms. Levy is a graduate of the University of Florida, from which she earned two bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Jewish Studies in 2011 and, subsequently, her Juris Doctorate in 2017. She was hired right out of law school by Becker & Associates, P.A., a boutique immigration law firm in Boca Raton, where she spent five years honing her skillset in all aspects of immigration law. Because of her credentials and invaluable practical experience and knowledge, Ms. Levy was recruited to join the Law Offices of Connie Kaplan, P.A. in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. There, she further developed her specialized skillset, overseeing a team of paralegals and winning cases before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), an agency of the Department of Homeland Security. Now, she has launched her own law firm.
Ms. Levy represents people from all over the United States—and the world—seeking permanent residence and naturalization. She advocates for asylum seekers in immigration courts across the country. She intervenes to assist Dreamers seeking reprieve from deportation under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program as well as other noncitizens seeking stays of removal before U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for legitimate familial, medical, political, and humanitarian reasons. She executes waivers that mitigate the extreme hardship that would result to U.S. citizens or permanent residents in the event of the deportation of a noncitizen spouse or child. She facilitates businesses in their efforts to employ foreign nationals in specialized areas where there is a lack of qualified U.S. workers. She also represents clients seeking to protect their assets via prenuptial and postnuptial agreements as well as an amicable resolution of irreconcilable differences.
As a first-generation American born in the cosmopolitan city of Miami, Florida, Ms. Levy grew up among various immigrant communities from the West Indies and Latin America. Growing up in a multiethnic family of Jamaican, British, Cuban, and Sephardic Jewish descent, she brings to the table a global perspective, drive, and passion for immigrant and civil rights. Ms. Levy has a heart for advocacy and justice. She has given her time to numerous pro bono projects and is a certified human rights consultant, qualified to lead seminars in human rights education and human trafficking prevention.

WHY CHOOSE US?
As a Boutique Law Firm, the Law Office of Lauren A. Levy, P.A. Offers:
-
Highly specialized service. Rather than boast a long list of disjointed practice areas, we concentrate on one area: immigration law. We do not seek to be a jack of all trades while mastering none. Our attorney is highly experienced in this specialized field and very knowledgable.
-
Personalized service. Unlike some big law firms, we do not take every case that comes in the door. If we do not believe you have a viable option, we will not take your money. Our attorney is diligent and ethical and known for getting the kind of positive results that others have not. Having a more selective client roster allows us to focus more closely on the details of your case and provide exceptional service.
-
Direct access. In contrast to a large, traditional law firm with multiple gatekeepers, you will have direct access to our attorney throughout all stages of your case.
-
Flexibility. As a virtual law firm, we are on the cutting edge of technology. Clients do not need to make the trek to our office—unless they so prefer. Consultations with our attorney are regularly conducted via Zoom, and all documents can be scanned and emailed directly to our team. If you need an appointment outside the hours of 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., we can accommodate you upon advance request.
-
Competitive Fees. We charge prices that are more accessible to our broad based clientele, rather than passing on large overhead costs to our clients through exorbitant fees that are prohibitive. We offer competitive pricing and payment plans to meet your needs.
WHY HIRE
AN IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY?
-
Sixty-seven percent (67%) of all applications and petitions filed without legal counsel are DENIED, according to the United States Citizenship & Immigration Service (USCIS).
-
Immigration law is complex. It involves more than simply filling out forms. It is one of the most complex areas of law in the United States – and getting more so.
-
Attorneys anticipate legal issues. An immigration attorney’s work involves legal and pragmatic problems, avoiding delay, and resolving legal complications.
-
Strategy is important. When you hire an immigration lawyer, you benefit from the years of experience, legal training, continuing education, and personal and professional relationships of that attorney with the government officers.
-
You cannot afford to fail. Chances are good that the people, plans, and future opportunities that are depending on the outcome of your immigration case deserve good legal representation. Limiting yourself to odds of success of “one in three” is unwise.
